NC leader Tanvir Sadiq condemns US-Israel strikes on Iran, calls merciless killing of religious leader unacceptable and urges Assembly debate on the issue

Jammu, Mar 27: National Conference (NC) chief spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq on Friday strongly condemned the US-Israel action against Iran, asserting that no country has the right to wage an “undeclared war” or kill innocent people, including children.

Speaking to the  news agency outside the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, MLA Sadiq expressed solidarity with the people of Iran over the killing of a religious leader, describing the act as “merciless.”

“No country has any right to wage an undeclared war or kill children. The merciless killing of a religious leader must be condemned,” the NC leader said.

MLA Sadiq, representing Zadibal, added that his party has moved an adjournment motion and a call for attention in the Assembly on the issue, expressing hope that the Speaker would allow them to raise the matter.

“This is a serious issue, and we stand in full solidarity with the people of Iran,” he said. (Agency)
