Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma chaired a meeting to finalize the District Capex Budget for the financial year 2026–27.
The DC directed all departments and executing agencies to prepare development plans based on ground-level needs and public priorities, with special focus on healthcare, infrastructure, and public service delivery.
He emphasized timely submission of proposals and estimates to ensure quick administrative approvals and smooth execution of development works, especially considering the limited working season in the district.
The DC also stressed better coordination among line departments, efficient use of resources, and proactive planning for effective implementation of projects across Rajouri.
Senior district officers including ADDC, ADCs, ACD, CPO, and SDMs from various sub-divisions participated in the meeting physically and virtually.
