The Cultural Unit Jammu of the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) organized a symposium-cum-cultural programme at the School for Sightless Girls Roopnagar under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir 100 Days Campaign.
The programme aimed to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and encourage them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle. Students actively participated in the symposium and shared their views on building a drug-free society.
Principal Navedita Shukla, Chief Guest on the occasion, appreciated the initiative and motivated students to become responsible citizens and spread awareness against drug abuse.
Cultural artists presented theme-based songs in Hindi and Punjabi, reinforcing the anti-drug message through engaging performances. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed among participants.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of senior DIPR officials and saw active participation from students, staff, and faculty.
