SDM Marwah Issues Show Cause Notices to Officials in Marwah and Warwan for Unauthorized Absence

Taking serious note of unauthorized absence from duty by government officials, the Office of the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Marwah has issued show cause notices to several officials posted in the Marwah and Warwan subdivisions. The action has been initiated to enforce administrative discipline and ensure uninterrupted delivery of essential public services in these remote areas.

According to the notice issued by SDM Marwah, the officials were found absent from their respective places of posting without prior approval or valid justification, despite clear government instructions regarding attendance and accountability. The officials have been directed to submit a satisfactory explanation within the stipulated time, failing which disciplinary action under relevant service rules may be initiated.

In Marwah subdivision, the officials served with show cause notices include Kuldeep Kumar, CDPO Marwah; Rajesh Kumar, TSWO Marwah; Dr Younas Beig, VAS, Nowapachi, Animal Husbandry Department; Haroon Ayub, TSO, FCS&CA Department; Imtiyaz Ahmed, AE, Jal Shakti Department; Sandeep Anand, AEA and Incharge AEO Agriculture Department; Adil Kamal, AEA and Incharge AEO Agriculture Department; Wilcy Hassan, Supervisor, Mission Poshan, ICDS Department; and Dil Afroza, Supervisor, Mission Poshan, ICDS Department.

Similarly, in Warwan subdivision, show cause notices have been issued to Dr Imran, Medical Officer PHC Aftce; Imtiyaz Ahmed, JE Jal Shakti Department; Arish Ibad, JE PWD (R&B); Shakir Ahmad, VAS, Sheep Husbandry Department; Firdous Ahmed, TSO Warwan; Chandani, ANM Sub Centre Sukhnai; Nisha Devi, ANM Sub Centre Rikanwas; Sarwinta, CHO Sub Centre Brayan; Minakshi, ANM Sub Centre Brayan; Naseer Ahmad, JE PMGSY; and Wali Mohd, Supervisor, Jal Shakti Department. In addition, the notice also covers all staff of the Agriculture Department Warwan and all staff of the Sericulture Department Warwan, along with Mansoor Ahmed, MPHW, Health Department Margi.

The SDM Marwah has emphasized that unauthorized absence, especially in far-flung and snowbound areas like Marwah and Warwan, severely affects public service delivery and will not be tolerated. The administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring accountability, punctuality, and responsiveness among government employees.

Further action will be taken after examining the replies submitted by the concerned officials, the notice added.
