Jammu, May 26: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, Founder-Editor of News Insider 24×7 & Public Herald Newspaper, Masood Malik, extended warm greetings to people across Jammu and Kashmir and the entire country, praying for peace, prosperity, communal harmony and brotherhood.
In his Eid message, Masood Malik said that Eid-ul-Adha is not only a festival of celebration and sacrifice but also a reminder of humanity, compassion and social responsibility. He urged people to come together above all divisions and strengthen the spirit of unity and mutual respect.
Expressing concern over the recent shocking incident in Budgam involving the rape and murder of a minor girl, Masood Malik said such crimes are deeply painful and completely against the values and traditions of Kashmir.
“Kashmir has always been known as the land of Sufi saints, peace, brotherhood and humanity. Incidents like these are alien to our culture and society. Such acts not only shake the conscience of people but also attempt to defame Kashmir and Kashmiriyat,” he said.
He added that society must collectively stand against anti-social and criminal elements who are trying to damage the peaceful image and social fabric of Jammu and Kashmir.
Masood Malik appealed to the youth and civil society to cooperate with authorities in identifying such elements and ensuring that peace and harmony are protected at all costs.
He further said that the safety and dignity of children must remain a top priority and stressed the need for strict action against those involved in crimes against women and minors.
“Festivals like Eid-ul-Adha bring a message of sacrifice, unity and brotherhood. This is the time to spread love, help the needy and work together for a peaceful society,” he added.
Masood Malik concluded by wishing everyone celebrating Eid-ul-Adha a joyful and peaceful Eid and prayed for lasting peace and prosperity across the region.
