Jammu, May 09, 2026: In a remarkable achievement, Police Station R.S. Pura successfully traced out a missing woman after a prolonged period of 16 years and reunited her with her family.
A missing report regarding Seema Devi D/o Kuda Ram R/o Village Jinder Melhu, Tehsil R.S. Pura, District Jammu, was originally lodged vide DDR No. 18 dated 16.08.2009 on the written complaint of her father, Kuda Ram S/o Nandu Ram R/o the same address. Acting on the report, a special police team was constituted at that time to trace the missing woman.
Demonstrating sustained commitment and professionalism, the Police Station R.S. Pura team continued efforts in the case. Recently, acting on fresh leads and utilizing technical assistance, the police team conducted thorough and persistent efforts, which ultimately led to tracing the missing woman after a gap of 16 years.
After completing all necessary legal formalities, the traced woman has been safely reunited with her family members and handed over to her legal heirs.
