Jammu, May 09, 2026: In a spiritually enriching and intellectually vibrant atmosphere, a grand function was organised at B.N. College of Education, Jammu, for the formal release of the book “Qutab-ul-Aqtab Hazrat Baba Mian Abdullah Larvi (RA)”, authored by renowned educationist, social figure, and former Minister Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli.

The event witnessed participation from a large gathering of eminent personalities, scholars, intellectuals, political representatives, members of civil society, literary figures, academicians, spiritual followers, and admirers from different parts of the region.
The much-awaited book was ceremoniously released by the august hands of Sayed Mohammad Sadiq Raza in the presence of distinguished guests and dignitaries representing diverse walks of life. The programme reflected deep reverence towards the spiritual legacy and teachings of Hazrat Baba Mian Abdullah Larvi, whose contribution to Sufi literature, spirituality, peace, and humanity continues to inspire generations.
Addressing the gathering, Sayed Mohammad Sadiq Raza lauded the untiring efforts of Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli for compiling and publishing such a valuable literary and spiritual work. He stated that the book would serve as a guiding source for devotees and followers of Baba Ji Sahib (RA) throughout the Indian subcontinent and beyond.
He further remarked that Hazrat Baba Mian Abdullah Larvi (RA) was among the most revered Sufi saints and poets of his era, whose teachings revolved around universal brotherhood, communal harmony, love, compassion, and service to humanity. He described Baba Ji Sahib (RA) as a torchbearer of spiritual enlightenment whose message remains highly relevant in today’s world, particularly at a time when society needs peace, tolerance, and moral guidance.
Speaking on the occasion, Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli shared his emotional and spiritual connection with the revered saint and his spiritual lineage. He stated that his family had remained deeply associated with the spiritual teachings and discipleship of Baba Ji Sahib (RA) for generations. Recalling his long association with the spiritual order, Kohli said that his forefathers were ardent followers of the saint and remained committed to spreading the values of spirituality, humility, and humanity preached by Baba Ji Sahib (RA).
Kohli further informed the audience that he began collecting historical material, poetry, teachings, and anecdotes related to Baba Ji Sahib (RA) during the mid-1970s with the sole objective of preserving and propagating the saint’s spiritual philosophy for future generations. He expressed satisfaction and gratitude over the successful publication of the book and hoped that readers, scholars, and disciples would immensely benefit from the profound spiritual wisdom and poetic excellence contained in the publication.
He emphasized that the teachings of Hazrat Baba Mian Abdullah Larvi (RA) transcend barriers of caste, creed, religion, and region and continue to illuminate the path of peace and righteousness for humanity at large. He appealed to the younger generation to study the lives and teachings of great Sufi saints to strengthen moral values and social harmony in society.
