JKEEGA Felicitates JKAS Officer Zakir Hussain Wani for Resolving HR Issues in Engineering Sector

The Jammu & Kashmir Electrical Engineering Graduates Association (JKEEGA) today felicitated JKAS officer Zakir Hussain Wani in recognition of his visionary leadership and proactive approach towards resolving long-pending human resource (HR) issues of the engineering fraternity.

The felicitation was led by JKEEGA General Secretary Sachin Tickoo, who appreciated the efforts of Zakir Hussain Wani in addressing key service-related concerns of engineers in the department.

The Association placed on record its gratitude for his significant contribution in resolving HR issues under the overall supervision of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Financial Commissioner (ACS), JKPDD, Ashwani Kumar.

Highlighting recent achievements, JKEEGA stated that 30 Assistant Executive Engineers have been promoted as Executive Engineers, while the Empowered Committee has approved the regularisation of 108 engineers. The promotion process of nearly 100 Assistant Engineers as Assistant Executive Engineers is underway, and around 70 Junior Engineers are also likely to be promoted as Assistant Engineers.

The Association also acknowledged the efforts of the HRM Section and expressed satisfaction over the progress made, stating that these steps have addressed long-pending demands of the engineering fraternity.

JKEEGA shared the happiness of the fraternity with all deserving officers who have benefited from these decisions.
