SRINAGAR, MAY 14: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered transfers and postings of officers in the Youth Services and Sports Department with immediate effect.
According to the order, Sunil Kumar has been posted as District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Kathua, while Sunil Singh Sambyal has been posted as DYSSO Samba. Dharamveer Singh has been posted as DYSSO Reasi and Jagdish Raj Sharma as Assistant Director Jammu.
Tarsem Singh has been posted as DYSSO Udhampur, Shafqat Ahmad as DYSSO Kupwara, Zahoor Ahmad Wani as DYSSO Anantnag and Mushtaq Ahmad Pampori as DYSSO Baramulla.
Gh. Hassan Lone has been assigned additional charge of DYSSO Ganderbal, Virender Kumar has been posted as Assistant Director Kashmir, Ashok Kumar as DYSSO Doda and Nisar Ahmad Ganaie as DYSSO Kulgam.
Further, Mohammad Ayoub Bhat has been posted as DYSSO Shopian, Jai Pal Singh as DYSSO Budgam, Nazir Hussain as DYSSO Ramban and Wali Mohd upon promotion as DYSSO Rajouri.
The department is also working on promotions of Physical Education Teachers and Physical Education Masters and finalisation of modalities for regularisation of Rehber-e-Khel in a phased manner as per policy.
Commissioner Secretary Youth Services and Sports Department Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary stated that a robust Human Resource Management system is being strengthened to ensure career progression of the physical education cadre and to improve youth engagement and sports development across the Union Territory.
He added that steps are being taken for cadre management, regular promotions, inter-se seniority matters and overall strengthening of sports administration at all levels.
