District Development Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of development works being executed at Shri Shiv Khori Shrine.
The meeting reviewed ongoing projects aimed at improving tourism infrastructure and enhancing facilities for pilgrims visiting the shrine area. Discussions focused on construction and renovation works at Bus Stand Ransoo, taxi stand roads, Gouri Bhawan, Shiv Shakti Bhawan, and blacktopping of roads.
Officials briefed the DDC about the progress achieved under various developmental projects in the Shiv Khori area.
The DDC directed officers to shift the office of the Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board to the newly constructed building at Bus Stand Ransoo and establish a registration counter there for better convenience of devotees.
He also emphasized cleanliness and environmental management and instructed officials to identify suitable land for disposal of solid waste and mule dung generated along the pilgrimage track and nearby areas.
