Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee to review the progress and impact of the Mission YUVA scheme in promoting youth entrepreneurship.
The meeting was attended by senior district officers, banking representatives, and officials from various departments. A detailed presentation was given on application status, pendency of cases, and handholding support being provided to beneficiaries.
The DC stressed the need to speed up approval, sanction, and disbursement of loan cases so that aspiring entrepreneurs receive timely assistance under the scheme.
He also emphasized the importance of awareness generation and directed departments to actively educate and motivate youth about the opportunities available under Mission YUVA.
The Lead District Manager was instructed to ensure prompt processing and timely release of sanctioned loans to beneficiaries.
