Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation of key power sector schemes in the district, including RDSS, Smart Meter installation, and Rooftop Solar projects.
The meeting was attended by officials from JPDCL, executing agencies, and vendors associated with flagship power initiatives. The DC reviewed the progress of ongoing works and addressed bottlenecks highlighted during the meeting.
He assured full administrative support and stressed timely completion of all projects to strengthen electricity infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and enhance consumer satisfaction across Ramban district.
Reviewing Smart Meter installation, the DC directed agencies to expedite the process and ensure all meters are installed and made fully operational within prescribed timelines.
He also fixed installation targets for Junior Engineers under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and instructed them to maintain quality standards while accelerating implementation
