Jammu/Kishtwar, April 25, 2026:
In an aggressive political move, J&K State Youth General Secretary Congress and District Doda Incharge, Anas Mujtaba Munshi, on Saturday led a poster campaign across Kishtwar, alleging “compromise in governance” and directly targeting the ruling establishment with the slogan “Magician is Compromised.”

The posters surfaced across prominent locations in Kishtwar town, drawing public attention and triggering political debate at the grassroots level.
The campaign is a direct reference to the recent speech of Rahul Gandhi in Parliament, where he launched a scathing attack on the Centre over issues linked to women’s reservation and the delimitation process. Gandhi had questioned the government’s intent and highlighted the failure of a Constitution Amendment Bill tied to these issues, which could not secure the constitutionally mandated two-thirds majority in the Lok Sabha.

Accompanied by several party workers and local leaders, including Mohd Rafiq, Abdul Hamid, Aadil Hussain, Mohd Shafi, and Siyar Naik, Munshi said the campaign was aimed at “exposing what has become a pattern of compromised leadership and misleading narratives.”

“This is not just a slogan, but a message to awaken the public. The developments in Parliament have raised serious questions about transparency, intent, and accountability,” Munshi asserted.

Reaffirming their stand, the participants said they will continue to raise people-centric issues and intensify democratic resistance against policies they described as “anti-public.”

The campaign is being seen as part of a broader political push to carry the national narrative to the grassroots, ahead of a potentially charged political season.
