Bageshwar, Uttarakhand, September 26: An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 jolted Uttarakhand’s Bageshwar district on Saturday afternoon, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The tremor was reported in the Himalayan state, with the NCS monitoring seismic activity across the region. No immediate reports of casualties or major damage were available in the initial reports. The NCS is the Government of India’s nodal agency for monitoring earthquake activity in the country.
