New Delhi, September 26: Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sunil Sharma met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi on Saturday and discussed a range of issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, discussions focused on security and law-and-order matters, development-related concerns and issues pertaining to the ongoing Assembly session, according to a statement.
Sharma said the Union Home Minister reiterated the Union Government’s firm and unwavering commitment towards peace, development and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Union Home Minister also assured all possible support and cooperation in addressing key concerns concerning the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting comes amid the ongoing Assembly session, with several issues concerning governance, development and public welfare being raised by legislators.
