During the interaction, grievances of the public were heard and recorded, with assurances given for their speedy redressal.

Speaking on the occasion, the SSP urged people to strengthen the ongoing “100 Days Nasha Mukt Abhiyan” by cooperating with enforcement agencies in taking decisive action against drug syndicates and their supporters. Youth were advised to stay away from drugs, while families were encouraged to get addicts enrolled in the district rehabilitation centre for treatment. Awareness was also shared about the MANAS Helpline (1933) for counselling.

Participants were informed about the use of ERSS emergency number 112, cyber fraud prevention, and the national cybercrime helpline 1930. They were also sensitized about the RAH-VEER scheme and the importance of the “golden hour” in emergencies.

The gathering was further cautioned about the risks of social media misuse, especially sharing unverified or communally sensitive content, and encouraged to contribute towards ensuring women and child safety.
