SHO Chatroo Conducts Public Outreach Ahead of Eid, Emphasises Communal Harmony and Anti-Drug Awareness

Kishtwar, May 26: In view of the upcoming Eid celebrations, SHO Chatroo Rashi Kumar conducted extensive public outreach visits across various areas under the jurisdiction of Police Station Chatroo, including Gurinal, Chingam, Drubell and Choop Pura.

During the visits, the SHO interacted with local residents and highlighted the importance of maintaining peace, brotherhood and communal harmony among all sections of society. Stressing the spirit of unity, he urged people to strengthen bonds between Hindu and Muslim communities and continue promoting mutual respect and cooperation.

Extending Eid greetings to the public, SHO Rashi Kumar conveyed warm wishes and said that festivals should serve as occasions to reinforce social harmony and togetherness.

As part of the ongoing anti-drug campaign, awareness regarding the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan was also carried out, with people being urged to actively support efforts aimed at building a drug-free society.

Meetings were also held at Police Station Chatroo and Police Chowki Mughal Maidan, where religious leaders and respected members of society participated and exchanged views on maintaining peace, communal harmony and public cooperation during the festive period.

Police appealed to the public to continue supporting law enforcement agencies in maintaining a peaceful environment and strengthening the collective fight against drug abuse.
