Bandipora, May 08: The ongoing 100-Day Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan continued across Bandipora district on Friday with quiz competitions, awareness programmes and pledge ceremonies organised in various educational institutions to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

The activities aimed at promoting awareness among youth and encouraging a healthy and drug-free lifestyle across the district.

Quiz competitions under the banner of the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan were organised at several institutions including PM SHRI Higher Secondary School Shahgund, Government High School Naidkhai, Higher Secondary School Jurniyal Tulail, Government High School Nadihal, Higher Secondary School Panar, Government HSS PTL Gurez, Higher Secondary School Gadakhud, Government Boys High School Garoora and PM SHRI Government High School Odina.

Students, teachers and staff members participated enthusiastically in the programmes, reflecting the commitment of educational institutions towards the success of the anti-drug campaign in Bandipora district.

The awareness activities also included pledge ceremonies where participants resolved to stay away from drugs and spread awareness against substance abuse in society.

The district administration continues to intensify awareness initiatives under the Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan to engage youth and strengthen community participation against drug abuse.
