Operation SheruWali has entered its 35th day in the forested belt of Dorimal in the Gambhir Mughlan area of Rajouri district, with security forces continuing extensive search operations in the region.
A multi-agency team, including the Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security forces, remains actively engaged in the ongoing counter-terrorism operation aimed at tracking and neutralising suspected armed infiltrators hiding in the rugged terrain.
Launched in late May, the operation covers dense forest areas where security personnel are conducting continuous combing, surveillance, and domination exercises to ensure full sanitisation of the region.
Officials said forces are maintaining a high level of alertness, and coordinated efforts among agencies are being strengthened to achieve operational objectives without any security lapses.
Additional precautionary measures remain in place across the area, while the operation will continue until the terrain is fully cleared and all targets are achieved, officials added
