Jammu February 20, 2026 : Member of Parliament Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo met Mohd Fatah Alam, President of the All India Milli Ulema Board, in New Delhi and held a detailed discussion on issues concerning community welfare, education, and social harmony.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening unity, promoting inclusive development, and addressing the pressing concerns of the people. They emphasised that constructive dialogue and collective efforts are essential for ensuring peace, progress, and socio-economic upliftment of society.

The All India Milli Ulema Board is a national-level religious and social organisation comprising Islamic scholars and community leaders from across the country. The organisation works towards religious guidance, educational advancement, social reform initiatives, and promotion of communal harmony. It also engages with policymakers on issues related to minority welfare, access to education, and social justice.

Those present at the meeting included Chowdhary Ramzan, former MLC Ghulam Nabi Monga, and NC Youth Zonal President Jaffar Wani.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continued engagement and cooperation in addressing public issues and strengthening societal harmony.
