Kishtwar, May 29: MLA Kishtwar Shagun Parihar today called on Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office Dr. Jitendra Singh and held detailed discussions on a wide range of developmental issues concerning the Kishtwar region.
During the meeting, Shagun Parihar apprised the Union Minister about the developmental aspirations and requirements of Kishtwar and sought his continued support for the holistic and balanced development of the constituency. She highlighted the need for expeditious implementation of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and ongoing infrastructure projects to ensure that the benefits of development reach every section of society.
The MLA discussed the progress and implementation of several flagship schemes of the Government of India, including PMGSY, JJM, PMAY, AB-PMJAY, PMSGMBY and other welfare and development initiatives being implemented across the district.
Shagun Parihar also raised issues related to road connectivity, power infrastructure, healthcare services, educational facilities, tourism development and the timely completion of ongoing projects. She emphasized that Kishtwar possesses immense potential and requires sustained support from the Central Government to accelerate its socio-economic growth.
Dr. Jitendra Singh gave a patient hearing to the issues projected by the MLA and appreciated her efforts in pursuing the developmental agenda of Kishtwar. Reaffirming his commitment as Member of Parliament and Union Minister, he assured full support and cooperation for addressing the genuine concerns of the people and ensuring the effective implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes in the constituency.
The Minister emphasized that the Government of India, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, remains committed to inclusive development and good governance, and that every effort would be made to ensure the timely execution of developmental projects and welfare initiatives in Kishtwar.
