Kishtwar Girl Secures 98.25% Marks in CBSE Class XII Examination

Jammu, May 14,2026: Bringing laurels to the district, Shubhangi Sen, daughter of Mr. Rakesh Sen and a resident of Hidyal in Kishtwar, has secured an impressive 98.25 percent marks in the CBSE Class XII Board Examination.

Her outstanding performance has earned appreciation from teachers, relatives, and well-wishers across the district. The achievement is being seen as a result of her consistent hard work, dedication, and academic excellence.

As per reports, more than 17,000 students across India scored above 95 percent marks in the CBSE Class XII examination this year, making Shubhangi’s achievement a matter of pride for Kishtwar.

The CBSE did not officially release an overall topper list to discourage unhealthy competition among students. However, media reports stated that the highest reported score in the country this year was 499 out of 500 marks (99.8 percent), secured by students including Savi Jain from the Arts stream and Nandana Ranjish from the Science stream.

MLA Kishtwar Shagun Parihar also congratulated Shubhangi Sen on her remarkable success. She lauded the student for her hard work and dedication, stating that such achievements bring pride to the entire district and inspire other students to excel in academics.

Family members and locals also congratulated Shubhangi on her remarkable success and wished her a bright future ahead. Residents said her achievement would motivate many other students from the district to work hard and aim high in academics.

They expressed hope that she will continue to achieve greater milestones in her educational journey and bring more pride to Kishtwar in the future.
