JPDCL Announces Scheduled Power Shutdown in Jammu and Adjoining Areas on May 6–7

Power supply to multiple Jammu localities including Sarthal Mandir, Narwal, Sidhra and others to remain affected due to maintenance works

Jammu, May 5: Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL Jammu has informed that power supply in several parts of Jammu and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 6 and 7 due to scheduled maintenance works.

As per the details, power supply to Sarthal Mandir, Kuntwara and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 6 and 7 from 9 am to 3 pm.

Similarly, power supply to Ward No. 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Taraf Sanji, Jarai, Bhagthali, Bhagthali Industry, PHE Installations, Paliwand, Basantpur, RTIC, MES Lakhanpur and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 7 from 6 am to 11 am.

Likewise, power supply to Transport Nagar, Narwal, Railway Colony, Upper Chowadi, part of Channi Himmat, Malik Market, Matto Colony, Bathindi, Sunjwan and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 7 from 9 am to 2 pm.

In addition, power supply to PHE Sheetli, Sidhra, Bamyal, MES Nagrota and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 7 from 11 am to 2 pm.

Further, power supply to Kheri, Ukhral, Ramsoo and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 6 and 7 from 9 am to 4 pm.

The department has advised consumers to make necessary arrangements in view of the scheduled shutdowns.
