J&K to Experience Dry Spell for Next Two Days, Light Snow Expected in Higher Reaches on April 3: MeT Forecast
The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting a generally dry spell for the next few days, with occasional snowfall expected in higher reaches.
According to the forecast, Jammu and Kashmir will remain dry from April 1 to April 2, followed by a generally cloudy sky on April 3, with light snow expected over the higher reaches of North Kashmir and the Sonamarg-Zojila axis.
The dry conditions are expected to persist from April 4 to April 7, with another possibility of light snow over higher reaches in North Kashmir and Sonamarg on April 8.
From April 9 to April 10, the region is likely to experience cloudy skies with light rain and snow at scattered places in Kashmir Division and isolated locations in Jammu Division.
The Meteorological Centre has advised travelers, tourists, and transporters to stay updated with admin and traffic advisories. Additionally, farmers are urged to continue with their agricultural activities as per the prevailing conditions.
