Jammu, September 30: The Jammu and Kashmir government has spent more than ₹825 crore on outsourced manpower since 2019, according to government figures.
The expenditure covers manpower engaged through outsourcing arrangements across various government departments and institutions. The figures highlight the significant financial commitment towards outsourced services over the past several years.
The issue of outsourced manpower has also remained an important subject in discussions surrounding employment, wages, job security and the functioning of government departments in Jammu and Kashmir.
