Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that Artificial Intelligence, Space, Nuclear and Quantum technologies will play a decisive role in shaping India’s future growth and global competitiveness. He highlighted that India is rapidly emerging as a key player in frontier technologies, with the National Quantum Mission already achieving significant milestones ahead of schedule.
Speaking at a media conclave, he noted that these advanced technologies will influence not only economic development but also national security and geopolitical strength. He added that India is steadily building capabilities in quantum communication, quantum computing, space innovation and nuclear energy.
Dr. Singh emphasized that policy reforms, including the National Education Policy 2020 and space sector liberalisation, are strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem by encouraging startups, research and industry collaboration. He said nuclear energy will also play a crucial role in powering the country’s growing digital and computing demands.
He further stated that India is moving towards a collaborative, innovation-driven model involving academia, industry and private enterprises. Calling on youth to actively participate, he urged students to embrace scientific thinking and contribute to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.(Agencies)
