PM Modi Arrives in Bangkok for BIMSTEC Summit, Receives Warm Welcome from Indian Community

Bangkok, April 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bangkok on Thursday to participate in the 6th Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).

Upon his arrival, PM Modi was warmly received by the Indian community in Thailand. Expressing gratitude, he took to social media platform X and wrote, “Grateful for the warm welcome by the Indian community in Bangkok. India and Thailand share a deep-rooted cultural bond that continues to flourish through our people.”

He further added, “Heartening to see this connection reflected so strongly here.”

PM Modi’s visit aims to strengthen regional cooperation among BIMSTEC nations, focusing on economic, trade, and security partnerships.
