POONCH, MAY 11: Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma on Monday chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) for Mission YUVA to review the progress and implementation of the scheme in the district.
During the meeting, the Committee approved 136 cases for financial assistance under Mission Yuva after detailed scrutiny and deliberations.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of timely sanction and disbursement of financial assistance to beneficiaries and directed bank officials to enhance the pace of approvals and fund disbursement for effective implementation of the scheme.
He stressed the need for close coordination among concerned departments and financial institutions to ensure that eligible youth receive benefits without delay and are able to establish sustainable livelihood opportunities.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Tahir Mustafa Malik, General Manager DIC Naheem-un-Nissa Bhatti, Deputy Director Employment Abdul Majid, Chief Agriculture Officer Jograj Salathia, Cluster Head JK Bank, Assistant Director Handicrafts Jyoti Choudhary, and officers from JKEDI, NRLM, NABARD, and other departments.
Officials discussed various aspects related to implementation of Mission Yuva and measures for improving outreach and support to aspiring young entrepreneurs in the district.
