Deputy Commissioner Budgam Athar Aamir Khan chaired a review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of Mission YUVA in the district.
The meeting reviewed key components including enterprise development, capacity building, credit facilitation, training programmes, awareness campaigns, and market linkage support for aspiring entrepreneurs.
The DC highlighted Mission YUVA as a transformative initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, self-employment, and sustainable livelihood opportunities among youth. He stressed coordinated efforts among departments, banks, and implementing agencies for effective grassroots execution.
He directed officials to intensify awareness campaigns so that maximum eligible youth, women, and self-help groups can benefit from the scheme. He also emphasized timely verification, smooth credit facilitation, and strengthening training support for beneficiaries.
The DC further instructed departments to promote market linkages and encourage entrepreneurs to adopt digital platforms and innovative business models for wider outreach and growth.
