The approval of the upgradation of the Balhama Irrigation Canal, at an estimated cost of ₹272 lakh, marks the fulfilment of a very long-pending demand of the local residents. After years of persistent public demand, this vital project has finally seen the light of the day.
The execution of this project will provide a reliable irrigation network, ensuring adequate water supply to agricultural lands and significantly improving farming conditions in the area. It is expected to enhance agricultural productivity, strengthen the local economy, and improve the livelihoods of the people dependent on agriculture.
