New Delhi, October 3: Private fuel retailer Nayara Energy has increased petrol prices by ₹5 per litre and diesel prices by ₹3 per litre, with the revised rates taking effect immediately.
The company’s latest price revision comes amid a sharp rise in international crude oil and refined petroleum product costs. The move is expected to increase fuel expenses for consumers at Nayara outlets across the country.
Nayara had earlier reduced petrol and diesel prices by ₹5 and ₹3 per litre respectively in July, following a decline in global crude prices.
The latest hike also comes amid wider pressure on fuel retailers as international oil prices have risen while prices at state-owned fuel stations had remained largely unchanged.
