Doda, September 16, 2026: The Judicial Employees Welfare Association (JEWA), District Unit Doda, has constituted its new District Executive Body following the official declaration of the results of elections held for the district unit.
As per the official notification issued by the Office of the District President, Waseem Ul Haq has been declared the elected District President of JEWA Doda, emerging as the contested winner. Mohd Ayaz has been declared District General Secretary as an unopposed winner, while Nissar Ahmed has been declared District Treasurer, also unopposed.
After assuming office, Waseem Ul Haq, in consultation with the General Body and in accordance with the Association’s Constitution, constituted the new District Executive Body to coordinate employee welfare, address administrative grievances and ensure effective representation of judicial staff across all courts in District Doda.
The newly appointed office bearers include Aaqib Javed as Vice President, Yasir Faried as Advisor, Mohd Ahrar as Organizer and Asrar Hashim as Publicity Secretary.
For peripheral court affairs, Anil Kumar has been appointed Head of Peripheral Affairs for Bhaderwah and Doda, while Arif Hussain Sheikh has been assigned Head of Peripheral Affairs for Thathri and Gandoh.
The executive body also includes nine members representing various judicial establishments across the district. They are Sunil Kotwal, Shafqatullah Sheikh, Sultanat Naseer, Mudassir Hussain, Nida Tabassum, Ruchi Raina, Nikhil Gupta, Akhter Hussain and Rakesh Kumar.
According to the notification, the members represent judicial establishments including the District Court Complex Bhaderwah, District Court Complex Doda, JMIC Thathri and JMIC Gandoh.
All designated office bearers and executive members have been directed to assume their respective charges with immediate effect and work collectively towards the welfare, dignity and legitimate rights of judicial staff across District Doda.
The constitution of the new body marks the formal beginning of the elected JEWA District Unit Doda’s tenure, with its stated focus on employee welfare, resolution of administrative grievances and effective representation of judicial staff across the district.
The notification has been issued under the authority of Waseem Ul Haq, District President, JEWA Doda.
