Srinagar, April 6: Vivek Bali, State President of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), has strongly backed the long-pending demand of Kashmiri Pandits for dignified rehabilitation and called upon the government to create 20,000 jobs to ensure their safe and sustainable return to the Kashmir Valley.

Addressing the media, Bali said the return of Kashmiri Pandits is not merely a political issue but a matter of justice, identity, and restoration of the Valley’s rich cultural heritage. He emphasized that without adequate employment opportunities, housing, and security, any rehabilitation plan would remain incomplete.

“Providing jobs to Kashmiri Pandits is essential for rebuilding their confidence and ensuring their permanent settlement in the Valley. The government must take immediate steps to create at least 20,000 jobs as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation package,” he said.

Bali further urged the administration to engage with community representatives and formulate a time-bound roadmap for the return and resettlement of displaced families. He also stressed the need for special economic packages, educational support, and infrastructure development to make the return process viable.

He reiterated that SBSP stands firmly with the Kashmiri Pandit community and will continue to raise their concerns at every platform until justice is delivered. (Agency)
