Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has officially revised the IAS batch of AGMUT-cadre officer Ram Niwas Sharma from 2010 to 2009, following a revision of his seniority. The updated batch allocation is reflected in official records.
The revision gives Sharma the benefit of one additional year of batch seniority. He is currently serving as Commissioner/Secretary to the J&K Government, with the School Education Department among his responsibilities.
The batch revision is part of a broader exercise involving 36 AGMUT-cadre IAS officers, whose allocations across the 2007–2011 batches were revised.
