Ramban, May 08: The three-day training programme for Field Trainers under Census 2027 concluded today in Ramban district with officials emphasizing the importance of systematic and accurate data collection during the upcoming Census exercise.
The programme was organised to equip Field Trainers with necessary operational guidelines, technical understanding and practical knowledge related to the forthcoming House Listing and Housing Census operations.
The training programme was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, who is also the Principal Census Officer.
The concluding session was attended by ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, Additional District Census Officer Ashfaq-ur-Rehman, AD FCS&CA Niamatullah Sheikh, Master Trainer Balbir Singh and other concerned officers.
Speaking on the occasion, the officers highlighted the important role of Field Trainers in ensuring transparency, accuracy and reliability during Census operations. Participants were urged to effectively utilise the knowledge gained during training while carrying out field-level implementation of the Census exercise.
During the sessions, participants were sensitised about enumeration procedures, household listing formats, use of digital tools, data confidentiality, communication skills and adherence to Census guidelines for maintaining uniformity and precision in data collection.
The training programme also focused on handling field-level challenges, real-time error checking and inclusive data collection covering all sections of society.
Officials stated that the programme would significantly strengthen the capacity of field functionaries and help ensure smooth, transparent and efficient conduct of Census 2027 across Ramban district.
