Minimum temperatures dropped across Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, with Pulwama recording the coldest night in the Kashmir Valley at minus 3.2°C, officials said.
Shopian recorded a low of minus 2.9°C, while Awantipora settled at minus 2.2°C and Pampore at minus 2.0°C. Srinagar recorded a minimum of minus 0.4°C, and Srinagar Airport dropped to minus 1.6°C.
Other parts of the valley also experienced sub-zero temperatures: Qazigund and Pahalgam at minus 1.0°C each, Kupwara minus 0.7°C, and Baramulla minus 1.5°C. Gulmarg recorded a low of 2.0°C.
In the Jammu region, Jammu city recorded a minimum of 9.3°C, Katra 10.0°C, and both Banihal and Rajouri 3.8°C each.
In Ladakh, Leh recorded a minimum temperature of minus 4.2°C. (Agencies)
