Powerful winds swept across various parts of the Kashmir Valley on Thursday, causing significant damage to property and infrastructure.
According to reports, several parked cars in urban areas were badly damaged as branches from chinar and other trees collapsed. Additionally, multiple power lines were snapped, leading to widespread electricity outages in several localities.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported so far.
Authorities have begun damage assessment and are working on restoration efforts to ensure public safety.
