Special Training Course for DySP Probationers Concludes at CTC Sunjwan with Valedictory Function

CTC Sunjwan concludes month-long DySP probationers’ training, DIG JSK Range lauds performance and stresses discipline, fitness and skill development

Jammu, May 5: The one-month Special Training Course for DSP Probationers concluded on Monday at the Commando Training Centre (CTC), Sunjwan, with a grand valedictory function.

The function was presided over by DIG Jammu–Samba–Kathua (JSK) Range Shridhar Patil. Senior officers including SSP Jammu Joginder Singh, SP South Vaibhav Meena, and SP PC Jammu Mohan Sharma were also present on the occasion.

The intensive training programme was designed to enhance the operational preparedness, tactical skills, and leadership qualities of DSP Probationers. The course focused on physical endurance, mental alertness, and field readiness to equip officers to effectively handle emerging security challenges.

On the occasion, meritorious trainees were felicitated for their outstanding performance. DySP (Probationer) Umar Yousaf was adjudged Best Trainee, while DySP (P) Rajat Sambyal and DySP (P) Vikram Choudhary secured second and third positions respectively. DySP (P) Rakesh Singh was awarded Best in Firing and DySP (P) Athar was declared Best in Endurance.

DIG JSK Range Shridhar Patil congratulated the probationers on successful completion of the course and appreciated the role of instructors and training staff for their dedication and professionalism. He emphasized the importance of discipline, physical fitness, and continuous skill upgradation for effective policing on the ground.
