Kishtwar January 22, 2026: A solidarity candlelight vigil was organised to pay rich and heartfelt tributes to the brave Army jawans who lost their lives in a tragic road accident at Bhaderwah. The vigil witnessed participation from party workers and locals, who gathered to express collective grief and respect for the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers.
Speaking on the occasion, PYC General Secretary Sh. Anas Mujtaba Munshi said that the nation has always stood shoulder to shoulder with its jawans, who selflessly serve the country under the most challenging circumstances. He stated that the sacrifices made by the fallen soldiers would forever be written in golden letters in the history of the nation.
Munshi expressed profound condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He added that the courage, dedication, and patriotism of the jawans would continue to inspire generations to come.
The vigil concluded with a moment of silence, as participants lit candles in remembrance of the brave hearts who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
Similar candlelight vigils were also held at Doda and other parts of the Chenab Valley, reflecting the collective respect, unity, and gratitude of the people towards the armed forces.
