Gurez, Bandipora: Security forces have recovered rusted hand grenades during a search operation in the Gurez sector of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The recovery highlights the continued presence of old arms and explosive material in the strategically sensitive border area. Authorities are expected to secure and dispose of the recovered grenades following standard safety procedures.
Gurez has previously witnessed recoveries of arms, ammunition and grenades during security operations.
