Reasi, May 14: District Administration Reasi today organised an awareness-cum-training programme on Census 2027 and the upcoming self-enumeration process at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex.
The programme aimed to sensitise officers and field functionaries about key aspects of Census 2027, with special emphasis on the online self-enumeration process, public outreach, and coordinated implementation of census activities across the district.
Deputy Commissioner Reasi Kumar Abhishek interacted with trainers and participants and highlighted the importance of ensuring widespread public awareness for successful conduct of Census 2027.
He stressed that effective dissemination of information at the grassroots level is essential to ensure maximum participation in the digital self-enumeration process. The DC directed officials to cover every household and ensure that no eligible person is left out during the enumeration exercise.
Emphasising inter-departmental coordination, the Deputy Commissioner instructed all departments and field functionaries to work in close cooperation for timely and efficient execution of census-related activities.
During the programme, a master trainer delivered a detailed presentation on Census 2027, explaining the objectives, framework, and procedures of the online self-enumeration system. Participants were also briefed on their roles in ensuring accurate data collection and smooth implementation of the census process.
Officials present included Additional Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar and other senior officers.
