Minister assures time-bound resolution of issues during public delegation interaction in Srinagar

SRINAGAR, MAY 11: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department Javid Ahmad Dar on Monday said that prompt redress of public grievances remains the prime focus of the present government, which is committed to ensuring responsive and people-centric governance.

The Minister made these remarks during his interaction with several public delegations from different parts of the Kashmir Division at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar, where he listened to their grievances and developmental concerns.

The delegations raised issues related to the repair and upgradation of roads and streets, transfer-related matters, irrigation water supply, and other developmental needs in their respective areas.

Javid Ahmad Dar assured the delegations that all genuine concerns would be addressed in a time-bound manner through close coordination with the concerned departments. He reiterated that sustained public outreach and direct interaction are essential for transparent, accountable, and efficient governance.

He further stated that the government is working with dedication to strengthen basic infrastructure, improve service delivery mechanisms, and ensure equitable development across Jammu and Kashmir.

The Minister directed officials to take immediate cognizance of the issues raised and initiate necessary steps for their early resolution.
