Jammu, Mar 12: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted raids at multiple locations in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir as part of its investigation into a terror conspiracy case, officials said.

The searches were carried out in Mohalla Khorinar and Hari-Surankote areas in connection with a case involving the recovery of arms and ammunition, including a pistol and two grenades, from two individuals in the border district in 2024, they said.

The NIA had earlier filed a chargesheet against the accused — Abdul Aziz and Munawar Hussain — along with their Pakistani handler Nazir Hussain in April last year. (Agencies)
