Radhakrishnan was escorted by senior ministers Pralhad Joshi, Dharmendra Pradhan and other NDA leaders, including TDP leader and Union Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu, Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Shinde and LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan, to the returning officer’s office in Parliament.

With wide support from the BJP-led NDA, Radhakrishnan’s election as Vice President is being seen as a foregone conclusion.
