Jammu, Mar 27: Legislators of the ruling National Conference (JKNC) on Friday staged a protest inside the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly against the US-Israel war on Iran as the House convened for the ongoing Budget Session.
According to the news agency Kashmir News Agency the lawmakers raised slogans condemning the strikes on Iran, describing them as a violation of international norms and an act of aggression.
The legislators also held placards and briefly disrupted the proceedings, demanding that the issue be taken up for discussion in the House.
They said the developments have deeply hurt public sentiment in the region. (Agency)
