National Conference Member of Parliament, Mian Altaf Ahmed, has expressed deep anguish and sorrow over the death of a youth in Jammu, allegedly in police firing.
In a statement, Mian Altaf strongly condemned the killing of Mohammad Parvez, a resident of Niki Tawi, Jammu, and called for a swift and transparent investigation into the incident, along with strict action against the officials found responsible.
“It is a broad daylight murder of the youth. The administration must conduct a thorough investigation, and those responsible should face strict action,” the statement read.
Mian Altaf described the incident as unfortunate and completely unacceptable.
He extended his solidarity and heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul, and assured all possible assistance to the victim’s family.
