MeT Predicts Dry Weather in J&K, Light Snow in Higher Reaches
Srinagar, Apr 2: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Tuesday forecasted generally dry weather across Jammu and Kashmir for the day, with changes expected in the coming days.
According to the MeT department, cloudy skies with a possibility of light snowfall are predicted for the higher reaches of North Kashmir and the Sonamarg-Zojila axis on April 3.
From April 4 to 7, weather conditions are expected to remain dry. However, April 8 may witness cloudy skies with a chance of light snowfall.
On April 9 and 10, scattered areas in Kashmir Division and isolated places in Jammu Division could experience cloudy weather with light rain or snow. The morning of April 11 may also see light rain or snow at isolated locations, followed by an overall improvement in weather conditions.
The MeT department has advised travelers, tourists, and transporters to adhere to administrative and traffic advisories, while farmers have been encouraged to continue their agricultural activities as usual.
