Jammu, Feb 18: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team for their remarkable victory in the Ranji Trophy semi-final, which earned them a historic place in the final.
In a post on X, the Office of the J&K LG, citing news agency Kashmir News Corner, praised the team’s performance and called the achievement a significant milestone in the region’s sporting history.
“Congratulations to the J&K cricket team on their magnificent victory in the Ranji Trophy semi-final! You have written a new golden chapter in J&K’s sporting history,” the post read.
The Lieutenant Governor added that the entire Union Territory takes pride in the team’s exceptional performance and expressed hope that the players would carry their winning momentum into the final to bring further glory to Jammu and Kashmir. (Agencies)
