LG Sinha Reviews Amarnath Yatra Preparations, Directs Expedited Infrastructure Development
Jammu, April 4: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting with senior officials of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) and executing agencies to review the progress of disaster management measures and the development of Yatri Niwas complexes.
During the meeting, LG Sinha assessed the ongoing projects at Baltal, Nunwan, Sidhra, and Bijbehara, emphasizing the need for swift execution to enhance facilities for pilgrims. He instructed officials and executing agencies to expedite the infrastructure work at key locations to ensure smooth arrangements ahead of the annual Amarnath Yatra.
He also directed authorities to complete vital infrastructure projects at the Baltal and Nunwan base camps before the commencement of the pilgrimage.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of SASB, senior officials of the shrine board, and representatives of the executing agencies.
