Continuing a cherished annual tradition that transcends business, Khyber Cement has officially launched its 2026 calendar. This year’s theme, “Kashmir’s Capital Architecture,” presents a compelling visual narrative tracing the region’s architectural evolution—from the monumental stone foundations of antiquity to the modern civic complexes of the 20th century.
The 2026 calendar is thoughtfully structured into twelve meticulously curated chapters, capturing how power, faith, and imagination have converged over centuries to shape the Valley’s landscape. Each page chronicles the rise and transition of Kashmir’s historic capitals, from Pandrethan, where sacred stone first bore political significance during Emperor Ashoka’s era, to the imperial, sunlit architecture of Parihaspora and the seven-storey wooden marvels of Nowshera.
